Born Oct. 12,1976,he was the son of Jeanette Turpen Aker and the late J.Calvin Aker.
He was a former Pulaski County High School and Lexington Catholic High School basketball player,a student of the Universay of Kentucky.a member of the National Guard E Company,1st Battalion,149th Inafantry and Somerset First Baptist Church.
Suvivors include his mother; a sister,AllisonJ.Aker;grandparents Ralph "Jack"and Bea Turpen,two aunts Ellen Green and Phyillis Turpen;five cousins,Cara Beth and Luke Wilson;Gretchuen ,Emliy,Sarah Ann Turpen.
Preceding him in death was his father and grandparents Dr. and Mrs.J.Raymond Aker.
Funeral service were at 2p.m. July 24,at Somerset First Baptist Church with Dr.Robert Browning and Bros.Larry Butt and Paul Chitwood officiating.
Burial was in Union Cemetry.
