Enlisted in Company C, Fifth Michigan Infantry, January 20, 1864, at Pontiac, for 3 years, age 20. Mustered January 20, 1864. Wounded in action and taken prisoner October 27, 1864. Mustered out at Jeffersonville, Indiana, July 5, 1865. Present residence, Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
