Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Henry Fabac, and mother-in-law Barb Gray. Sherry is survived by her husband, David, of the home; son Trevor (Jennifer) Gray of Kansas City, Kan.; daughter Darcy (Ricky) Ruis of Kansas City, Kan. Survivors also include her mother, Wilma Stiles, of Kansas City, Kan.; brothers Victor (Sara) Mitchell of Ottawa, Kan., Michael Mitchell of Franklin, Tenn., David (Joann) Fabac of Shawnee, Kan., Mark (Shelly) Fabac of Shawnee, Kan., Joe (Anna) Fabac of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Chloe, Alivea, and Alex, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sherry worked from her home as a medical transcriber. She was previously employed with Summit America Insurance as a claims manager. Prior to that, she was employed with Principal Insurance Co. Sherry loved attending scrapbook cropping events with her friends, creating historical memories for her family. She will always be remembered as a fun-loving and optimistic woman who was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished most. Services in care of the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home.
