Clarence W. Jabusch Sr., 102, of Springfield died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1899, in Edinburg, the son of Frederick and Lucy Heidrich Jabusch. He married June L. McLean in 1932 in Springfield.

Mr. Jabusch was a claims agent for Chicago and Illinois Midland Railway and later retired from the product evaluation division of the Illinois Department of Insurance.

He was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a member and treasurer of Faith Lutheran Church in the mid-1950s. He was a life member of Central Lodge 71 AF&AM and Springfield Elks BPO Lodge 158.

He was a member of Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Springfield, Ansar Temple, Elwood Commandry 6 K.T., Abraham Lincoln Chapter 959 Order of the Eastern Star, Abe Lincoln High 12 Club 38, Ansar Shrine Retirees, Retired Freight Claim Officers and Associates of Chicago.

Survivors: wife, June L.; a son, C.W. "Zeke" Jr. (wife, Patricia) Jabusch of Godfrey; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services: Oak Ridge Cemetery, Dr. Lonnie Lee officiating.
