Abel González Salinas, age 54, was born in San Rita, Jalisco, México to Epigmenio and Maria Luz (Salinas) González. He married his wife, Maria R. (Garcia) Gonzalez in 1976 in Mexico and came to Wasco in 1983.
He worked for Paramont for about twenty years. Abel was a hardworking man who liked to travel to the coast.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria R. (Garcia) Gonzalez; his mother Maria Luz (Salinas) Gonzalez, of Mexico; his son Jesus Gonzalez, of Wasco; his brothers, Javier, Conrado, Roberto, and Juan Gonzalez, all of Wasco and Gonzalo, Gustavo, and Joaquin, all of Mexico; his sister Rosa Gonzalez, of Mexico; and many loving family members. Abel was preceded in death by his father Epigmenio Gonzalez.
Peters Funeral Home will be conducting a funeral service for Abel Gonzalez-Salinas, age 54, who passed away on March 17, 2008 in Deleno on March 24, 2008 at 10am at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father Ralf Belluomini will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on March 22, 208 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Holy at 7pm.
