Services will be Tuesday at Mount Hope Abbey for Jack N. Horton, 66, 2000 Ohio, who died Thursday in a local hospital. He had cancer. He was born October 10, 1908 in Atchison. He lived in St. Louis, Mo. many years. He had lived in Topeka for 20 years.
He was a bookkeeper for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, State Department of Revenue, until he retired. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM.
Survivors include his widow, Geraldine, and his mother, Mrs. Abigail Horton, Kirkwood, Mo.
Cremation will follow services.
Mr. Horton will lie in state at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary Sunday.
