Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Estelle (Brumbley) Burrows, 77, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hersman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mouzon Rosser, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
A former resident of Wagoner and widow of the late Tobe Burrows, died Thursday, April 23, 1959 in Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa.
A native of Red River County, Texas, Mrs. Burrows was born in 1885. She came to Wagoner in 1916 where she lived until four years ago when she moved to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leona Boatright, in Tulsa. She was a member of the Wagoner Royal Neighbors.
Survivors other than Mrs. Boatright include another daughter, Mrs. Valeda Reavis, of Muskogee; two sons, W.R. Burrows, Bartlesville and Ray of Houston, Texas; also four grandchildren. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Hersman Funeral Home, Wagoner. Pallbearers were Paul Hersman, Guy Wilson, Clay Flowers and Vaughn Ashworth.
