Ruth A. Oberhaus, 83, Gerald, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Mrs. Oberhaus was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Labadie, the daughter of Walter Stettes and wife Pauline, nee Schultz.
She received her education at Becker School, Labadie. On Oct. 11, 1947, she was united in marriage to William Oberhaus.
Mrs. Oberhaus was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Nov. 24, 2006; and two brothers, Clifford and Carl Stettes.
She is survived by one son, David Oberhaus, Pacific; one daughter, Bonnie Meyer and husband Bill, Gerald; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 29, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Labadie.
Memorials to Bethel Cemetery are preferred.
