Ella Mae Boggess, 91, Independence, MO passed away April 2, 2009. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home in Liberty, MO. Burial service will be at New Hope Cemetary immediately following.

Ella was born on October 29, 1917 in Clay County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Boggess, one daughter, Eula Mae and by six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Wright, Independence, MO; sisters Evelyn Cutting of Lathrop MO and Hazel Johnston of Liberty, MO; five grandchildren, Melanie Bruneau of Stark, KS, Scott Stevens of Olathe, KS, Mike Cordell of Kearney, MO, Sandra Vaughn of Olathe, KS and Kirk Grego of Lee's Summit, MO; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and seamstress for many years. She loved fishing, camping, blue grass festivals and playing cards. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was the center of our lives.
