She was born in Bartley, W.Va., daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche MacArthur Jarrett Woody, and was the widow of James M. "Buddy" Holloway Jr. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James M. "Jay" Holloway III and his wife Libby of Beaufort, S.C., and David N. Holloway and his wife Penny of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, Dave Woody and his wife Pat of Bristol Virginia; three sisters, Anna Quesenberry of Tampa, Fla., Frances Beavers of Nashville and Mary Alice Pruitt and her husband Jim of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren, Andrew J. Holloway, Christopher D. Holloway and Tyler David Holloway, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at State Street United Methodist Church, with Rev. Fred Dearing and Rev. Sharon Wiley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Entombment will follow in the Heritage Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to State Street United Methodist Church, 300 West Valley Drive, Bristol, VA 24201, or to The Baptist Church of Beaufort, Challenge to Build Fund, 600 Charles St., Beaufort, SC 29901.
