Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Norwich Street Baptist Church with the Rev. C.H. Jackson, assisted by the Rev. J.L. Sentz, pastor of Advent Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto Cemetery under direction of Miller Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be W.R. Croft, Henry Keith, Tom Waldron, W.E. Newton, Robert Walling, C.L. Copeland, J.M. Price and I. Schreiber Ocean Lodge No. 214 F&AM will be honorary escort and will have masonic rites at the graveside.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie H. Henderson; two sons, Robert J. Henderson, Jr. and James Morris Henderson; one daughter, Evelyn. Six brothers, Henry, Fleming, A.P. of Manor, Ga., Frank, Waycross, L.J., Hazlehurst, and Tom W. Henderson, Brunswick; three sisters, Mrs. S.K. Ferrell, Waycross, Mrs. Martha Ann Smith, Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Mrs. Karen Gildarvy, Brunswick.
Mr. Henderson was well known here, had been associated with Hercules Powder Company for 27 years. He was a Mason and a member of the Norwich Street Baptist Church.
The body will be taken to the residence this afternoon to await the hour of the funeral.
