Charles B. Cole, aged 70, died last evening at 7 o'clock at his home at Belvidere, after an illness of two weeks.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Mary E. Cole; one son, Henry Cole, of Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Anderson, of Milford, and Mrs. D. Alton Rowe, of East Orange.
He was a member of the Stroudsburg Lodge, No. 325 F. and A. M; Warren County Forest, No. 14, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, of Phillipsburg; the B. P. O. E., of Phillipsburg, and was an exempt firemen of Belvidere.
Mr. Cole was a hotel proprietor until nine years ago when he retired from business. During the course of his life, he made many friends through his love of dogs and as a sportsman and through business relations.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his home, corner of Race and Oxford street. The Rev. Dr. A. A. Acton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Milford cemetery.
