Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 3, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, Nebraska.
OBITUARY: Alma Weehler
Alma J. Weehler, the daughter of Albert and Mary (George) Enderle, was born at Stockham, Nebraska, on March 29, 1900, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 1, 1989, at the age of 89 years, 4 months, and 2 days.
When she was 5 years old, the family moved to Loup City, Nebraska, where she attended school and graduated. She then taught school for several years, in Sherman County.
On May 8, 1918, she was united in marriage to John Weehler, at Grand Island. They farmed for many years in Sherman County, and in 1945, they moved to Loup City. Mr. Weehler preceded her in death on August 12, 1968. In December of 1981, Alma moved to Aurora, where she resided until her death.
Alma was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are one son, Eldon Weehler, of Riverside, California; one daughter Mrs. Emil (Elaine) Heins of Hampton; one sister, Ruth Starken of Omaha; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
