"In the French and Indian War, David served from 10 April to 26 November 1756 under Capt. David Waterbury, 3d, of Stamford; in 1757 he served for 17 days in a Greenwich Co.; and from 2 April to 13 Novmber 1758 under Capt. Waterbury again, in the 4th Company, 4th Regt.
He removed from Stamford, Connecticut, to Salem, Westchester County, New York, before 1763, and was admitted to the church; his wife was admitted 4 August 1805.
