Betty Jo was born in 1924 in Kansas City, Kan. She graduated from Ward High School. In 1945 she married John Bondank and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage, raising their 11 children and being with family and friends. Betty Jo loved to play bridge, volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital, entertain, and follow her faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Henrietta Kanatzar, husband, John and son, Thomas. She is survived by 10 children, Susan Chambers, John J. Bondank, Jr., Mark D. Bondank, Dianne J. Perritt, Katherine A. Curren, Linda M. Tonda, James P. Bondank, Rebecca L. Okay, Steven E. Bondank, Joseph K. Bondank; one sister, Mary Ann Plunkett; and 21 grandchildren.
