Arthur Belew, farmer of Clarksburg community, died at his home there on Wednesday morning after suffering a stroke only a week earlier. Funeral services are being held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Roans Creek Church by the Rev. W. L. Denton of Holladay, Tenn. with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Belew was a faithful Christian and well thought of by all who knew him. His sudden death comes as a shock to friends and neighbors.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Suzie Pinckley Belew and two sons, Carl of Illinois and Lewis of Clarksburg; also a sister, Mrs. Vida Horn of Wildersville. Mr. Belew was a member of the Church of Christ.
