Frank (Schooner) Conrad, 71, died last night in his home, 122 W. Thomas St., after being in ill health for eight years.
He was born in Rome November 5, 1877, a son of John and Fannie Weismantle Conrad. A life-long resident of Rome, he was employed by the General Cable Corp., until he retired in 1940. He married Alice Shea October 13, 1903 in Schenectady. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
His wife is his sole survivor.
