Gale I. Hayball, 39, 1312 Ridge, died Sunday at his home.
He was born Jan 19, 1945, in Blackfoot to William C. and Emma B. Moffat Hayball and was reared in Pocatello where he excelled on the swimming team prior to his graduation from Pocatello High School.

He married Reine Julen in Elko, Nevada. He was employed at Tisco Sheet Metal Company on a project at the INEL site.
He was a member of the LDS church, enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, the out-of-doors and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Pocatello, his parents, Pocatello, a grandmother, Blanche Moffat, Blackfoot; two sons, Brett Hayball and James Rasmussen; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Katrina) Rupp, Shelia Rasmussen, a brother, Bill Hayball; and two granddaughters, all of Pocatello. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob, and a son, Michael.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Manning Funeral Chapel with Bishop Dale Kirkhal of the Pocatello LDS Fourth ward officiating. Burial will be in Mountainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Manning Chapel.
