He was born Lajos József (Louis) Hegedüs on Feb 22, 1920 in Springdale, Allegheny County, PA. He died in Los Angeles County on Mar 28, 1981. He married Patricia (Pat) McFall. I don't know the date and place of marriage. I have one son listed named Joseph.

According to his brother, Alex, Louie was in a tank Battalion during the war.
