William G. "Willie" Abbott, 66, Frankfort, died at 3 a.m. September 12, 1995, in his home after a brief illness.

Mr. Abbott retired from Harmeson Mfg. Co. after 42 years as a forklift driver. He moved to Frankfort in April 1951.

He was born June 15, 1929, in Wayne County, Kentucky, to Granville and Ida Troxell Abbott. He married Anna Mae West on June 1, 1951, and she survives.

Also surviving are five sons, William L., Homer E., Ronnie G., Johnnie G. and Daniel Lee, all of Frankfort; four sisters, Dorey Worley of Monticello, Kentucky, Lucy Perkins of Lexington, Kentucky, Flonie Siders of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and Virginia Boston of Lawrence; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

Three sisters preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mowery officiating.

Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.
