Marion was born to Charles & Sarah Pearl Weakley Karr, at Star Hill, Baxter Springs, Kansas
He married Vilinda His Dandy on August 22, 1931 she preceeded him death as did a son Marvin, Marion was re-united with his beloved Dandy and Son Marvin upon his passing, I am sure it was joy filled.
Marion's death came after an accident at a nursing home

Marion John Karr, age 90 died on Saturday December 2, 2000, at the Galena Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness.
Mr Karr was born March 12, 1910 in CHerokee County, His parents were Charley and Pearl (Weakley) Karr. He had lived in Galena all of his life.
He was an auto mechanic and owned and operated Karr's Garage for 46 years. He retired in 1985. He attended teh Assemble of God Church in Galena.
He was married to Vilinda J Fry on August 22, 1931, in Joplin. She preceded him in death January 25, 1990, Their only son Marvin preceded them both in death on Oct 25, 1944
Surviving is one sister, Josie Hendryx, Preceeding in death, his wife and son, one brother, Bill Karr and three sisters Elizabeth Gates, Art Gates and Margaret Sliger.
Services were held on Tuesday, December 5 at the Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, Kansas Rev. Don Anderson officiated burial is in the Lowell Cemetery.
