Janet sadly passed from the Cancer she had been fighting, the day she died she had spoken on the phone that morning to her sister in law telling her that she was going to beat the disease sadly she did not she left behind
Janet received an associate desgree in applied science in business and industrial supervision from Labette Community College. She was an instructor and coordinating advisor for the Galena Extension of the college
She began working for the City of Galena in 1976 as a school crossing guard and police matron. She became a police dispatcher in 1986
