Normand J Juaire was born in Spencer, MA, the son of Joseph H and Rosilda (Champagne) Juaire and lived in that town for most of his life. He worked for many years at both Klevin Shoe in North Brookfield, and Webster Shoe and Novelty, before retiring from Brookfield Athletic Shoe Co. in 1981.

Mr. Juaire was an Army veteran serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater with the Americal Division Company E of the 182nd Infantry. He received a Bronze Star for his World War II service. After the war he was a member of the American Legion Post 138.

His wife, Virginia O Derosier Juaire died in 1969. At the time of his death he left a son Raymond Juaire of Sturbridge; two daughters, Marie Boire of Millbury and Bernice Kerwin of Galway, NY; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild and a friend, Evelyn Grenier.
