Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 26, 1989 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Blanche Ross

Blanche Marie Ross, the daughter of Samuel and Viola (Misner) Kissel, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on August 8, 1903, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 22, 1989, at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 14 days.

She grew up on a farm near Prairie Gem, and attended country school, and also attended dress making school in Aurora.

On May 14, 1925, she was united in marriage to Samuel E. Ross at Stockham, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1986. After their marriage they farmed in Hamilton County for several years, and in the 1930's they moved into Stockham. In 1945 they moved to Aurora, where they have since resided.

Blanche was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, and was active in Church Circles. She also enjoyed her flower gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, Myrle, Milo and Lloyd Kissel, and one grandson Kelly Ross.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Doyle of Casa Grande, Arizona, and Valta of Aurora; 2 daughters, Beverly Blue of Wichita, Kansas and Deanna Cooley of Mesa, Arizona; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
