4 Nov 1918: Edwin Kemble (sic), of No. 18 South Sixth Avenue, Hebron, succumbed to an attack of influenza, on Sunday after a brief illness. He was employed at the filtering plant of the Bethlehem Steel Company, and was aged 28 years. Besides his wife, nee Jennie Cummings, of Myerstown, he leaves two children, Mary and Harold; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Kemble; three sisters, Mrs. Luther Weaver, Mrs. Irving Gambler, and Miss May Anna Kemble, and a brother, Elmer Kemble, employed at the Bethleham Steel Works. The deceased was a member of the Knights of Pythias, and Camp No. 7, Sons of America, of Hebron, and was also identified with the membership of the Hebron Hose Company. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. [Lebanon Daily News]
