ROSEVILLE - Helen Kildow, 92, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2007 at Summerville At North Hills.
Helen was born on March 1, 1915 in Columbus, to the late Charles and Daisy Lowry Culp. Helen was a lifetime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Roseville. Helen worked and later retired as a Roseville Elementary school teacher. She was a member of the Progress Club, WSCS, Republican Club, Eastern Stars, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #71, Pythian Sisters, and was a Past Chief of the Pythian Sisters. She volunteered at Secrest Auditorium, Christ Table, and at the Welcome Center of Zanesville. Helen also served on the Roseville City Council and was a co-founder of the Roseville Historical Society, along with being a member.
Helen is survived by a son Eric (Judy) Kildow of Roseville, five grandchildren; Mary Patricia (Rick) Gasner of Manchester, N.H., Erika (Jeremy) Reeves of Columbus, Kristen Kildow of Englewood, Kurt Kildow of Beulaville, N.C., Kyle Kildow of Zanesville; and a great-grandson Jordan Reeves.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odin Ray Kildow who passed away June 29, 1969, and a daughter Kristine Miller.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, in The Lanning Funeral Home Roseville Chapel, 33 Main St. in Roseville.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at The Lanning Funeral Home Roseville Chapel with Pastor Gay Blau officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosehill Cemetery in Roseville.
