Robert was the son of Morton and Margaret Alder. Had married Pansy Dell Maley of Elwood, Indiana.

Converse - Graveside rites for Robert Morton Alder, 73, Somerset, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Mississinewa Cemetery with the Rev. Hoite Brown officiating.
Mr. Alder died Monday at 9:45 a.m. in the Marion Genera Hospital.
Born February 2, (should be 4th), 1895 (should be 1896), in Illinois, he had lived in Somerset since 1952, moving there from Elwood. He was a retired steelworker.
Among the survivors are a son, Robert Alder, Jr. and two daughters, Naomi and Catherine Alder all of Elwood.
