Mrs. Lana M. Miller, widow of W.E. Miller, died Friday, July 27, 1945, at her home at New Salem.
Mrs. Miller, a daughter of Elias and Lydia Geist Holben, was born December 31, 1868 at Ringgold. She was married to W.E. Miller, who died some years ago.
The survivors included three daughters and one son, Mrs. Vera Shick of Cochranton, Mrs. Lenore Mohney of New Salem, Mrs. Arveda McConnell of Smicksburg and Leland Miller of Niagara Falls. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three brothers, Calvin Holben of Frostburg, Md., Earl and Clyde Holben of Ringgold.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Methodist church of Ringgold.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at her late residence with Rev. A.F. Richards officiating, assisted by the Reverend Jacob Troutman. Burial under the direction of H.H. Sloan was made in the New Salem cemetery.
