Fred R. Kluckhohn
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Ackman funeral chapel for Fred R. Kluckhohn, 76, who died unexpectedly at his home, 215 N. Eagle St., Sunday afternoon, November 3. Interment was in Naperville Cemetery.
Mr. Kluckhohn, long-time Naperville resident, served two terms as Commissioner of the City of Naperville, from 1927 to 1931, and from 1947 to 1951. He had also been employed by the Illinois Retailers Occupational Tax division.
He and his wife, Betsy, who survives him, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in June 1967. Also surviving are two sons, James and Richard of Naperville; and a daughter, Mrs. William (Betty) Doke of Manhattan Beach, California.
Memorials to Mr. Kluckhohn may be made to the heart fund.

Funeral services for Fredrick Kluckhohn, 215 N. Eagle, Naperville, were held at Ackman chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. He died Nov. 3 at home at the age of 76.
Surviving are: his wife, Betsy; a daughter, Mrs. William Doke of Manhattan Beach, Calif., two sons, James and Richard of Naperville; three brothers, Edward of Naperville, Charles of Cleveland, and Ernest of Youngstown, Ohio; two sisters, Edna Allen of Filmore and Caroline of Naperville.
The Rev. Robert Harmon officiated. Burial was at Naperville Cemetery.
