Reed A. Cramer, 81, of Terra Alta, Cranesville Community, died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at home.
He was born February 20, 1919, in Terra Alta, son of the late Frank and Nellie Metheny Cramer.
He was Methodist.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beatrice DeWitt Cramer, of Terra Alta; three sons, Lonnie Cramer, Mark Cramer, and James Cramer, all of Terra Alta; three daughters, Jean Brock, of Niles, Ohio, Shirley Metheny, of Terra Alta, and Bonnie Hauger, of Corinth; a sister, Olive Metheny, of Terra Alta; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jack Cramer; three brothers, Junior Cramer, Berlin Cramer and William Cramer; and two sisters, Maple Wiles and Wava Dodge.
Friends may call at Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, until the 11 a.m. service, with the Rev. Berlin H. Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Terra Alta.
