MARY NELL GRANT
Mrs. Mary Nell Grant, age 82 of Tucker, GA, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Nell, a devoted wife and mother, was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Gene Grant.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Massey of Woodstock, and Ginger Darden of Dallas, GA. Other survivors include a brother, Jack Hogsed of Commerce; 3 grandchildren, Erika Mitchell, Michael Darden, and Andrea Darden; and one great-grandchild, Madeline Mitchell.
Nell was retired from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, and was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell. A graveside service is planned for 2:00 pm on Monday, April 13 at Memorial Park in Gainesville.
