Arabelle Dooley was born at Polk City, Polk County Iowa, April 4th, 1860 and died near Narka, Republic County Kansas, Feb. 25th 1917. Aged 56 years, 10 months and 21 days.
In 1870 she with her parents came to Republic County Kansas. In 1875 she was united in marriage to Mr. L. Adams to this union was born five sons and two daughters, Mrs. W. T. Hudson, W. P. Adam, M. G. Adams, and L. D. Adams, which with her husband still survive her, the others having preceded her to the great beyond.
In 1874 she was converted and joined the Protestant Methodist Church, later she joined the Christian Church at Narka and died in the triumphs of a living faith.
The funeral was conducted at the Ida M. E. Church by the Rev. C. E. Tinker pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Narka, Kansas. Interment was made Ida cemetery.
