Funeral Service for Clista B. King, 72, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb 20, 1998 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Clista B. King was born March 25, 1925 in Grady County, Okla., the daughter of J. W. and Bessie Marie Ogle Ratliff, and died Tuesday, Feb 17, 1998 in Norman, Okla. after a two month illness with cancer.
Mrs. King was retired from the First National Bank in Chickasha in 1981.
She and Melvin King were married Feb 2, 1945 in Chickasha.
Mrs. King was a member of the Spring Creek FCE Group.
She was preceded in death by her father, J. W Ratliff, mother, Bessie Marie "Ogle" Ratliff and two brothers, James Ratliff and Bill Ratliff.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin King of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Patricia King of Chickasha, sister-in-law Georgia Ratliff of Chickasha; three sisters, Jesse Marie Wilkerson and husband Royal of El Segundo, Calif., Beulah Tugman of Midwest City, Okla., and Erma Moews and husband Joe of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Dave Ratliff and wife Rosemary, of Dibble, Okla., and J. W. Ratliff, Jr. and wife Mary of Blanchard, Okla; grandchildren, Angela Howard and husband Curt of Eufaula, Okla., and Mike King, Brandon King and Clint King of Chickasha; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home
