Dr. Thad Weatherly Dead
Bennettsville, Feb. 16.—Dr. Thad Weatherly died at the home of his son, Thomas C. Weatherly, here Wednesday night at the age of 67. Dr. Weatherly was a native of Marlboro, but went to the Little Rock section of Marion county to practice his profession. He has been in failing health for several month. He moved from Dillon last fall to make his home with his son here. He was a brother of the late C. M. Weatherly of this place and an uncle of John L. McLaurin.
The remain were buried with Masonic ceremonies at the new McCall cemetery here yesterday afternoon. Rev. M. W. Hook of this place and Rev. J. D. Crout of Laurens assisted in the funeral exercises.
