Joshua and Abigail had 3 children: Cyrus, who is buried in Old North Church cemetery, Mary Augusta and Mary Josephine.
•John Graves Weare who was born in Andover on July 15, 1805 and died there December 13, 1869. He married on September 11, 1824, Mary Hilton daughter of Henry Dearborn Hilton of Andover. She was born November 7, 1806 and died July 19, 1899. They had 2 children: Henry Dearborn Hilton Weare and Joseph Weare. This Joseph and his wife, Eliza Ann are who is buried in Old North Church cemetery.
•Sally who was born September 12, 1809. She married Jacob Moore Brown who was born April 19, 1805. He is the son of Samuel and Rebecca (Fellows) Brown of Andover.
