Marjorie J. (Abrams) Allen, age 74, of Aurora, Mo., formerly of Pierce City, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at her home in Aurora, Mo.
She was born in Placerville, Calif., on Feb. 3, 1935, the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Nauta) Abrams.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Willson, of Roseville, Calif., and Shirley Carlile, of Rackerby, Calif.; two sons, Charles L. Jones, Jr., of Yuba City, Calif., and Shane Allen, of Aurora, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Tunell, of Pierce City, Mo., and Gloria Hollwell, of Jupiter, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lakin Funeral home, Pierce City, Mo., where the family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Graveside services and burial will be held in the Pierce City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, with Rev. Dick Palmer officiating.
