Survivors include her sons, Odis Lee Fender of Polk City, Harvey Columbus Fender, Franklin D. Fender and Henry Washington Fender, all of Groveland; daughters, Mildred Gibson of Groveland, Edith Powell of Azle, Texas, Betty Powell of Okahumpka, Linda Fae Fussell of Foley, Ala., and Diane Watson of Groveland; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services for Sweetie Tempy Fender will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday (Jan. 23, 2003) at Midway Baptist Church with the Revs. Kerry Beaty and Lawrence Burtoft officiating. Family and friends may call at Kurfiss Funeral Home, Groveland, Wednesday (Jan. 22, 2003) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Burial will be at Fender Cemetery, Groveland.
