Friends here were shocked on last Thursday to learn J K Gaddis who for several months had been engaged in contract work on the K & G had died during the previous night at the work-camp. In the room where he slept were two sons and several others. His death was first noted by his son Haskell. The body was brought here and taken to the home. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev C R Wade of the Methodist church of which the deceased was a lifelong member. The burial was at Elmwood. At the time of h!s death, Mr Gaddis was in his 57th year. He was a native of Illinois but had lived many years in Oklahoma coming here from Cleveland county 24 years ago. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Pauline and three sons Harry, Haskell and Ernest.
