Officer Paul Sciullo of Bloomfield, Pennsylvania is the beloved son of Paul "Max" and Julia "Sue" Sciullo; loving brother of Laura and Eric Zahren and Julia Mullen; cherished uncle of David Mullen, Luke, Anna and Mark Zahren; devoted nephew of Herman and Mariann Isaak, Margaret "Peggy" Sciullo, Grace Isaak, Ruth and Mike Close, Ralph Garrison, Linda and Jack DiMartini, Carmella and Rich Zielinski, the late William "Bimbo" Sciullo, Laura Sciullo, and Patricia Garrison; beloved friend of Lisa Esposto; also survived by numerous loving cousins. Paul died at age 36 while serving his community as a Pittsburgh Police Officer in the line of duty alongside two of his fellow officers; Stephen J. Mayhle and Eric Kelly. HIs full name is Paul John Rizzo Domenic Sciullo II.
Friends were received Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Winter Funeral Home, 4730 Friendship Ave. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bloomfield. Officers Paul, Stephen, and Eric lay in state at the City County Building beginning Wednesday at 3 p.m. Memorial Services were Thursday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at the Petersen Event Center in Oakland. Interment for Paul immediately followed on Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery.
