NATCHITOCHES, L.
A. – Funeral services for J. N. “Bo” Brown, 72, of Natchitoches, La., were held
at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 1994, from the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Doug Cain and the Rev. Hyland Packard
officiating.

Burial with Full military graveside rites were in the Feagin
Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

He died Monday, June 27, 1994, at the
Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

A native of Livingston, he was a paratrooper
during World War II. He was a graduate of N. S. U. on a football scholarship in
1948. He was a forester and a plywood plant builder. He was a member of the
First United Methodist Church of Natchitoches and was a Civil Defense Director
in Polk County before moving to Natchitoches.

Survivors include his wife,
Sylvia H. Brown of Natchitoches and one son, Billy John Brown of Nashville,
Tenn.

Pallbearers were Charlie Solomon, Ed Anders, Allen Posey, Sam Holland,
Bill Kennedy, Ray Turner, Walter Ledet and Paul Fleming.

Honorary pallbearers
were members of the
Aggitators.
