Ingeborg was born about 1795 in Kviteseid, Telemark, Norway. She was baptized in the year 1795 (Kvitesied parish records).∼Ingeborg Johannesdatter Klevstoel was the daughter of Aslak Johannesen Klevstoel and Aslaugh Endresdotter. She married Anders Johnson Aabøe (Aaby) in Norway on 30 Jun 1821. He died in 1846 and is buried in the West Koshkonong Church cemetery, Dane County, Wisconsin.
Ingeborg and her husband Anders Johnson Aabøe (Aaby) (1790-1846) were the parents of seven children, six of whom will be linked on this page. Their son Andres (Anders, Andreas) Anderson Aabø was married in Mantorville on 7 May 1859 to Birgit (Bergithe, Betsy) Halvrsdatter Bjåland (1833-1913). Birgit is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville -- the likely burial place of her husband Anders, as well, who died in 1869.
According to records of the Norwegian American Genealogical Center, Ingeborg's husband was buried in West Koshkonong Cemetery, Dane County, Wisconsin -- but his grave is apparently unmarked.
