Olive T. (Drolet) Morin, 76, of South Yarmouth, formerly of South Grafton, passed Friday April 10, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Armand L. Morin, three children, Ann C. Kjellberg and her husband Andy, Carolyn A. Corey both of Grafton and Thomas A. Morin and his wife Gayle Kesler of Fitchburg, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her aunt, Elizabeth Gauthier of Northbridge, her brother-in-law, Clarence Byrne, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Velma Byrne and Clare Drolet and her granddaughter, Kristen Corey.

Born June 8, 1932 in Whitinsville the daughter of Albert and Alice (Voutour) Drolet she lived most of her life in South Grafton moving to South Yarmouth 27 years ago. Mrs. Morin was a 1950 graduate of Grafton High School. Olive worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator at Tupper Plastics Co. in South Grafton and she was Head Librarian at The South Grafton library. After moving to Cape Cod she worked at Basketville and The Red Jacket Hotel. Olive was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church in S. Yarmouth and a former parishioner of St. James Church in S. Grafton where she also was former treasurer of it's Women's Guild. Mrs. Morin enjoyed knitting, arranging flowers and her family. Memorial donations may be made in her name to: The Kristen Clare Corey Scholarship Fund c/o Millbury National Bank, 18 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527 or to VNA Hospice of Cape Cod, 434 Rt. 134, Suite G-1, S. Denni,s MA 02660 in lieu of flowers.

Funeral Arrangements

The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 15th from The Roney Funeral Home, 124 Main St., South Grafton, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. James Roman Catholic Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. She will then be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery. There will be calling hours Wednesday, April 15th from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass.
