Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Glade George Jennings, age 65, passed away after a courageous battle with a long illness.

Born May 26, 1929 in Chester, Utah, a son of Charles Edward and Hannah Melvina Buchanan Jennings. Married Akiko Hirose, March 15, 1952 in Sapporo, Japan.Member LDS Church. Served during Korean conflict in Japan. Enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Loved to travel and spend time with his family.

Survived by his wife, Akiko, Salt Lake City; children, Alice Jennings, Mrs. John Anthony (Susann) Valdez; Eddie Jennings and wife, Terri; Glenn Jennings, all of Salt Lake City; four grandsons and four granddaughters; brother, Cloyd Jennings, Salt Lake city; sisters, Twila Hermreck, Wichita, Kansas. Preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Ann, and parents.

Funeral services will be Thursday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
