She was born January 3, 1902 in Logan, a daughter of Emanuel and Martha Stenson Peterson. She married Elden William Gunderson, February 13, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 9, 1982.
She was educated in the Logan Schools and attended Utah State University. She has lived the past 45 years in Spanish Fork. She was a member of the LDS Church, and served as Relief Society Secretary and Relief Society Visiting Teacher.
Survivors; two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Marjean) Anderson, College Station, Texas; Reed Gunderson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ronald (Sharon) Braithwaite, Spanish Fork; Merrill Gunderson;, Duchesne; twenty two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
