Of much interest to their many friends was the marriage of Miss Jennie B. Chandler and Leon Candler Lester, which took place at 1:30 o'clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Davis, in Athens. The wedding was a very quiet one, witnessed only by a few relatives and friends. The bride is the daughter of W. P. Chandler, of Winder, Ga. and possesses many lovely traits of character.
After a delightful wedding trip through Florida they will be at home to their friends at the home of Mr. Lester's mother, Mrs. Charles Morris, on Park avenue, Athens, Ga.
