He was a retired maintenance employee who had worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City and was a member of Thomas Chapel CME Church in Hickman.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara McIntee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and Twanda McIntee of Paducah, Ky, and Dewayne and Gwen McIntee of St. Louis; two daughters and his son-in-law, Sharon and Freddie Winters of Augusta, Ga, and Karen Hunter of Louisville, Ky; six brothers, Condra Caldwell Jr. of Memphis, James E. Caldwell and Norman Caldwell, both of Fort Wayne, Ind, Robert Earl Caldwell of Dorena, Mo, Roy Lee Caldwell of Union City and Tim Andrews of Bloomington, Ill; three sisters, Leora Burton of Pontiac, Mich, Flossie Thomas of Union City and Imogene McDonald of Kansas City, Mo; and 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Condra Caldwell; his mother, Orean (McIntee) Caldwell Andrews; and his stepfather, Jim Andrews.
