Found other birth dates as 1836 and 04 Sep 1845; don't know which is accurate. Daughter of Salina/Selina Engle and James Kramer. 2nd wife of Granville Lowther. Married by R.R. Highleyman on 05 Feb 1871 in Middlebourne according to the WV Marriage Record Book. Granville was 36, a saddler and widowed; she was 32 and single. WV death record says she died at 74y 4m 5d but it looks like that is about 10 years off.

SISTERSVILLE

Mrs. Mary K. Lowther, wife of the late Granville L. Lowther, died Friday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock at her home on Railroad avenue, following a short illness. Mrs. Lowther was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church from girlhood. She is survived by one son, A. G. Lowther, and one daughter, Miss Florence Lowther, and a sister, Mrs. Carpenter, of Middlebourne. Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
