Miss E. Ilene Allen died at the Caylor-Nickle Clinic, Bluffton. A Markle native, she resided most of her life in Fort Wayne.
Miss Allen was a member of the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church and retired in 1970 after 32 years of service with the Essex Wire Company.
Surviving are three sisters, Marie Thompson of Fort Wayne, Marth Waters of Markle and Mary Mann, Huntington; two brothers, Neil Allen of Bradenton, Florida, and Ival Allen of Markle.
Her parents Clyde and Celesta Olive Levengood Allen, preceeded her.
