Clara (KROUSE) DAWSON STEPHENSON, 92, Argos, died at 1:20 a.m. Monday at her residence. Mrs. Stephenson was born May 20, 1888 near Argos to Henry and Rosetta KAMP KROUSE. She had lived most of her life in the Argos community. She was first married to Harley DAWSON Sept. 21, 1905, who died May 7, 1949. She later married May 20, 1956 to G. Elwood STEPHENSON, who died Dec. 19, 1963. She was a member of the Argos Congregational Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arline) MILLER, Argos; a son, Clifford H. DAWSON, Whispering Pines, N.C.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie LISTENBERGER, Argos, and Mrs. Marjorie MORIARTY, Culver; two brothers, Lloyd KROUSE, Argos, and Donald KROUSE, Plymouth. A daughter, Lula Marie [DAWSON], preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. Alex DeGOLYER officiating. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service Friday.
