Graveside services for Barnie Dunlap, 74, of Lubbock will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Sterling Parsons officiating.
Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
He died Thursday, August 12, 1999, at his residence.
He was born December 2, 1924, in Stonewall County. He married Lois B. Parker on December 25, 1977, in Lubbock. He served in U.S. Army during World War II. He graduated from Lubbock Barber College in 1948. He moved to Crosbyton in 1949 where he was a barber for 27 years. He moved back to Lubbock in 1976. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lois B. Dunlap of Lubbock; a son Gary of Lubbock; a daughter, Dianna Romans of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Katie Hollingsworth and Mary Landers, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Pansy Addington of Sheridan, Wyo., and Dorothy Garner of Lubbock; and nine grandchildren.
